With Mothers day just around the corner, why not treat yourself to a Mummy & Me photo session. If you are anything like me and my friends Its usually us mums behind the camera, I bet you have loads of daddy with the kids? Am I right? Well here is the chance to get involved and capture precious moments with your children. My cosy little studio is located in blue bell hill village, Kent, easily accessible from Chatham, Maidstone and Walderslade.
These Mothers day photo sessions are designed to be relaxed and fun. If you don’t like smiling at the camera, then just play around with your child, tickle them or play piggy backs and I will be there to capture the natural smiles that come from them just being with you.
This is one of my favourites from a few years ago. Their giggles were infectious, what a beautiful moment captured and a true representation of the bond and love between these three.
Short and Sweet
The sessions are 20-30 minutes, nice and short so your children won’t get bored but just enough time to allow them to relax and settle in. Every session is different and thats what I love about it, your photos should reflect you and your children.
What to wear
My vision for these sessions are light and fresh with a spring feel. Pastel colours work best- blues, pinks, greens, grey, cream, white and beige. Denim always looks fab too, my personal favourite is jeans and a white top, classic and timeless. Avoid heavy dark colours and tops with labels or characters. These sessions are not just for mums with young children. Why not treat you own mum, you probably don’t have many, if any photos of you and your mum both as ‘mums’
