HOW IT WORKS
The best time to photograph your newborn baby is in the first 14 days, your baby will sleep lots and still have their curled up position which makes posing easier and safer.
Newborn sessions are longer than our standard one. It will last 2-3 hours to allow time for feeding and lots of cuddles, so you can rest assure that you won’t feel rushed.
WHEN TO BOOK
After your 20 week scan is the best time to book your newborn photography session. Your due date will be penciled in and once your baby arrives you can contact us and book in an actual date. Early bookings are encouraged to make sure we can fit you in as we only book a few newborns in a week
STYLING YOUR NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT
Before your newborn shoot, we will discuss colours and artistic set ups you would like for your baby. This will all be ready for when you arrive. My aim is to style your shoot using your chosen colour palette, using a selection of wraps, textures and props to create a range of images that complement each other.
PARENT AND FAMILY SHOTS
One of my favourite parts of the shoot is getting a few parent and sibling shots. I totally understand it might not be what you want, having just given birth and sleep deprived. But with beautiful lighting and the right posing I can make you look at feel great. I will capture some real magical moments and it doesn’t include smiling at the camera, so really worth considering.
AFTER YOUR PHOTOSHOOT
The work doesn’t stop once your photoshoot is finished. Care and attention is taken to edit 20-30 images and you will be invited back to a viewing session, where you can purchase your photos.
You will be able to choose from one of our Image collections and have the option to purchase wall art, albums and gifts.
All our prints and products come from a high quality proffesional lab and are not available on the highstreet.
2-3 favourite images will be edited and shared on social media. You are welcome to tag and share. If you prefer not to have your images used on social media, please let us know on the day of your shoot.

BUMP TO BABY £95
Our bump & baby package is a lovely way to capture your pregnancy.
After your 20 week scan is an ideal time to book your sessions. Your bump shoot is best taken at around 30 weeks and your newborn shoot in the first 14 days. During your bump shoot is an ideal time to discuss your ideas for your newborn shoot and look through the various props we have to offer.
We have a number of props ranging from beds, baskets, handmade headbands and hats. All backdrops and props are artistically used to create the right shot for you.

WHY CHOOSE ME?
Hi, I’m Kelly and I will be the one photographing you. I have been a newborn baby photographer for 10 years and I have a lovely little studio in Blue Bell Hill village, Chatham. I am also a mum to two beautiful girls, who are my absolute inspiration and drive. I know too well how quickly they grow up and how precious those tiny moments are.
From as long as I can remember, I had a camera in my hand. My dad was a photographer, naturally I followed suit. I love looking through old photos with my children and I want you to have that same nostalgia when looking back at yours.
My passion is to create beautiful, timeless newborn images that will melt your heart. These are days to treasure. Images that are not just for you, but to hand down through generations.
My aim is to style your images to match your home so you can display them for all to enjoy. Photos are what makes a house a home.

What if my baby doesn’t sleep?
Although I will try my best to get all the shots you want, every baby is different therefore so is every session. There are certain poses that require the baby to be asleep but rest assure there are plenty of lovely shots I can get of your baby awake. I am led by the baby and if I feel they are not sleepy enough to position in certain props then I will move on to another position . Safety always comes first.
Why do I have to book my newborn shoot in advance?
Due to the long sessions and amount of editing required for a newborn shoot, I have limited spaces allocated a week. If I know to expect you I can block out some time. I can take last minute bookings if I have space but due to the short window of time (5-14 days old) I would hate to have to turn anyone away.
Will you be handling my baby?
Yes, I will be posing and settling your baby. I have been working as a newborn photographer at my studio in Chatham for over 10 years and I am fully trained in newborn safety. My sessions are baby led and I will only position them in poses that they feel comfortable in.
